Overview of o-ring
O ring, is a round section of rubber sealing ring, because its section is o type, so called o ring, also known as o ring. It first appeared in the mid-19th century, when it was used as a sealing element in steam engine cylinders.
The purpose of the o-ring seal is to prevent leakage and loss of liquid or gas (commonly referred to as introduction). O-ring is the most commonly used type of seal due to its simplicity, convenience and small space required for installation. As long as the groove design and material selection is correct, and the working condition is within the temperature range of the rubber material, the seal can play a long-term sealing effect in the dynamic sealing of the static sealing box.
O - ring is a circular ring, usually made of elastic rubber (elastomer). Its size is determined by inner diameter and wire diameter C/S.
Fluoro rubber (FKM) o-ring:
Mainly used for oil resistance, resistance to wear, acid and alkali, high temperature occasions, excellent comprehensive performance.
Fluororubber o-ring mainly includes the following types:
1. Viton-a: 66% fluoride, universal
2. Viton-b: fluoride content is 67~68.5%, medium
3. Viton-glt GFLT: low temperature resistant
4. Viton-etp: resistant to more chemical media
5.VITON TFE/P(AFLAS): more acid-base resistance
6.VITON AED: explosion-proof type, used in oil and gas industry
Polyurethane (PU) o-ring: mainly used for oil resistance, abrasion resistance and pressure resistance or water resistance, abrasion resistance and pressure resistance.
There are mainly two kinds of polyurethane o-rings provided by our company:
1. AU: oil resistant type
2. The EU: water resistant type
